I've worn a lot of hats.

Literally. For years, I insisted on attending elementary school in whatever I pleased; usually something purple or egregiously bright, always accessorized with a hat and scarf. That instinct for self-expression followed me through a string of odd hobbies. Origami, arm knitting, sewing, drawing, painting, archery, before landing somewhere I never expected: card games.

Now I collect them. Every city I visit, I pick up a deck. A handmade deck made by an artisan, a corner shop find, something taught to me by a stranger and I carry it with me. My cards go where I go: a small, portable way of keeping life playful and a little unpredictable, no matter where I am. It's the same girl in the crazy hats, just dealing cards instead of accessorizing.

That same curiosity is what I bring to art direction. An eye for detail, a love of finding the unexpected in ordinary places, and a belief that the best ideas often come from paying close attention to how people actually play, gather, and create together.
